Saint Ezekiel Moreno y Diaz’s Chair
Also held in the St. Joseph Church but in the museum portion, this particular saint is the patron saint of cancer. And a little trivia: he used to be a smoker too! The chair was formerly housed in Palawan but they decided to move it back to St. Joseph’s Church for preservation. Despite being a native of Spain,St. Ezekiel is still celebrated here as a patron saint of cancer patients as he was most commonly the one giving out last rites to the many dying people he had met along the way. You can look at the chair but no touchy, that old chair has been a celebrated chair for the patron saint of cancer patients (most particularly lung cancer).
