  1. Crash Landing On You

“Crash Landing On You” is directed by Lee Jeong-hyo and features Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Kim Jung-hyun and Seo Ji-hye. The synopsis of this drama is that a chaebol heiress made an emergency landing in North Korea and she falls in love with a North Korean special officer who is hiding and protecting her. “Crash Landing On You” is now the second-highest-rated drama in cable television history. Another reason to watch this is because Hyun Bin looks so charming with his officer attire.

“Itaewon Class” is the first drama series produced by movie company Showbox. The Hallyu actor Park Seojoon is the main actor, featuring Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung and Kwon Nara. “Itaewon Class” is about the main character Park Sae-ro-yi opens a restaurant in Itaewon after he gets expelled from school from punching a bully. Fun fact, Park Sae-ro-yi’s hairstyle in this drama has been adorably described as “chestnut” hair due to the resemblance. It has become a fashion trend and not so advisable for everyone.

“Tell Me What You Saw” is a 2020 South Korean television series starring Jang Hyuk, Choi Soo-young and Jin Seo-yeon. If you are a fan of Kpop, you won’t be a stranger with Choi Soo-young, she is a member of Girl’s Generation. This is a story about an eccentric genius profiler who works with a detective with a photographic memory and a police chief to go after a serial killer who was thought to be dead. This drama will leave you addicted with its fast-paced storyline.

“Dr. Romantic 2” is the sequel to the 2016 series “Dr. Romantic”. The casts of “Dr. Romantic 2” are Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Joo-hun. “Dr Romantic 2” tells the true lives of doctors in a humble local hospital with a genius surgeon and young doctors. This medical drama isn’t overly dramatic but is filled with several real-life experiences and realistic stories about ordinary people.

“Kingdom” is a 2019 South Korean political period supernatural thriller web television series written by Kim Eun-hee and directed by Kim Seong-hun. “Kingdom” is Netflix’s first original Korean series and it was renewed for a second season which was released in March 2020. Ju Ji-hoon, Ryu Seung-ryong, Bae Doo-na, Kim Sung-kyu are the main characters in this drama. For season 2, the synopsis is about the advancement of the plague that raises the dead during the Joseon era and the prince must unite his people to save the country.
