3 Easy Cleaning Solutions You Can Make At Home

In recent years, there has been a cult following in sulfate and paraben free products, ranging from shampoo to household cleaning agents. But what do these chemicals do? To keep things simple, sulfates are what makes your shampoo and dish soap bubbly. They are what makes your agents work up a lather. Whereas parabens are simply preservatives added to products to extend their shelf lives.

Sulfates and parabens have a bad rep, but with good reason- sulfates and parabens are skin irritants and can dry out your skin with continued use. Some people may choose to go sulfate and paraben free because of environmental reasons, or to try to use more natural products for health reasons. BUT, these green products do come with a hefty price tag. Instead, why not try making your own?

Here are some solutions that can be easily made at home with ingredients you might already have lying around!
